SPRING LEAGUE

In the spring, many of our kids want to continue playing lacrosse, while others move on to play Little League baseball, water polo and other youth activities.

In order to keep their enthusiasm for lacrosse going, we will enter teams in a Spring League.

We typically have fewer participants in the Spring League than we had during Winter League, so we enter fewer teams.

Before playing on a Surf Dawg League Team, we require players to have attended a Beginner's Clinic and a few Training Sessions so they are adequately prepared to experience some success in a competitive setting.

AGE GROUPS

Traditionally, the age groups in Spring League are divided this way:

2nd-4th Grade

5th-6th Grade

7th-8th Grade

TEAM PRACTICES

Team practices are held once each week - usually on a weekday evening at Eastbluff Elementary or Corona del Mar High School.

GAMES

Games are traditionally on Saturdays (sometimes Sundays) from mid-March through early May. Games are played in Orange County.

FEES

There are fees involved with Spring League participation. These fees help our organization to reduce the cost of team uniforms, League Team Fees, liability insurance, equipment, and coaches travel expenses.
